I’m a creature of habits. What I love about habits is that they save me decisions and allow me to quickly switch into automatic gear, and, as a result, be my most efficient self. When things around me change, I know I’ll have to set up new systems but that I’ll be able to rely on my habits to get through. I’ve listed in this article the habits that are saving me the most time and stress.
Whether we work full or part time, at home or outside, or are a full-time mother, it always seems that there is so much to do and not enough time to do it. When I left the corporate world to set up my own business working from home around my then two-year old son’s schedule, I thought I’d have the best of both worlds. The reality was not as ideal and smooth as I thought, and I quickly had to apply a few organising principles to make the juggling easier.
