Creating the best environment for your family means everything to you.
You’re not a “hoarder” by any means, but somehow your possessions have gotten out of control. You feel overwhelmed by the clutter and tired of feeling disorganised.
Only, you don’t know where to start.
You don’t have the time or can’t face the idea to do it on your own and it seems like every time you’ve tried, nothing’s changed.
Hi, I’m Nathalie Ricaud. I’m a professional organiser and founder of Get Organised & Beyond.
Originally from France, I’ve been living in Singapore since 1998.
I work with families who feel overwhelmed by all the stuff they’ve accumulated in their home – being the clothes, the toys, the paper, the books, the photos, the digital files, you name it – or by even all the activities they’re trying to fit into their schedule.
I help them declutter, set up systems and embrace new habits so they can create and maintain a clutter-free, organised and peaceful home and make time for the important things in their life.
You may wonder how someone can possibly enjoy clearing other people’s clutter, right?
Well, my passion for organising started as a child. My mother had a habit of procrastinating on important things until the very last minute. And my father had a tendency to collect a lot of stuff that, over the years, led to an overstuffed, cluttered garage.
So around age 10, I decided to take the matter in my own hands and started to sort and organise things in our house. Looking back, I think it was a way for me to create a structure that had been missing up to that point in my life.
Far from being negative, these experiences were my first inspiration to enter the world of organising. When I was invited at my friends for a playdate, I often ended up helping their parents sort things out in their houses!
I carried my love for organising by embracing a career in Supply Chain Management.
I spent 20 years, planning and managing large projects, optimising warehouses’ space, processes and systems and driving efficiencies. Unconsciously I started transferring the concepts I was using in the warehouses into my home.
Then I became a mother. I was travelling quite extensively at that stage, and I needed to establish systems and routines so that things could run efficiently, even when I was not around. I once again saw how organisation and time management were so crucial to keeping a family happy.
I also realised that not everyone was equipped with these skills when my friends, inspired by the way I was organising our home, started seeking my guidance in creating order in their homes.
Finding out there was a profession out there for something I was so passionate about was a big a-ha moment for me! I quickly became certain that this was my calling. It took me a while to find the courage to take the leap. But eventually I did and Get Organised & Beyond was set up in 2013.
I feel very privileged to be able to put my passion, my skills, my personal and professional experience together to help others get organised and transform their lives.
Because let’s face it: clutter and lack of organisation take a toll on people’s life, on their happiness, on their peace of mind and on the quality of their relationships with their loved ones.
And that’s what drives me in my job. Seeing the transformation that happens in individuals and in families, not only with their physical spaces, but also at a mental and emotional level, when simple yet effective solutions are put in place to get organised and regain control over their schedule.
… Whether it’s this lady who started losing weight after we decluttered her wardrobe because she no longer had to face a wardrobe made of clothes that didn’t fit her and made her feel fat and hopeless.
… Or this busy mum of 3 young children who, after streamlining her belongings and schedule, was able to go back to a part-time job while she was just bargaining for a couple of hours in her week.
… Or this dad who rediscovered the joy of going back home after work because the kids, based on the systems we had created, were able to clear away their toys, making it possible to maintain the home clutter-free and peaceful.
Decluttering and getting organised is an investment.
I often come across people saying “Why do I need to pay for this type of help? I can do that!”. Others feel that something is wrong with them, that they should be able to do it on their own and feel embarrassed to ask for help. But then when they don’t reach their goals, demotivation sets in and it’s even harder to start all over.
The thing is, decluttering and getting organised is an investment. It’s a financial investment if you use a professional organiser like me to help you through the process. It’s an investment in time – clutter didn’t happen overnight and won’t disappear overnight either.
And I have to say, it’s also an investment in discomfort. You’re going to have to face your stuff and make decisions that you may have been postponing for years. In the process, you’re going to have to let go of the past and maybe of some hopes for the future, but by doing so, you’re going to bring clarity into your life and move forward.
Trust me, I’ve experienced it first-hand. The day I let go of all the baby stuff I had kept hoping for a second child who never came, I made peace with myself and was able to bring more love into our family.
Have you ever thought about what would flow into your life if you were to let go of the stuff?
My goal is to give you a lifestyle breakthrough so you look at things differently so you let go of the old and welcome the meaningful.
I blend decluttering, organisation and time management strategies to coach you through a lifestyle shift so you can transform your home and create habits that stick.
The end result? More freedom and more MEANING.
You’ll learn to let go of the things that no longer serve you. You’ll claim back your time. Your productivity will skyrocket. You’ll stop procrastinating and you’ll have a beautiful home with the space and habits to go after your goals – whatever they may be.
If you could use some tips to declutter your home, get started with my list of disposal options. Not only this guide is free, it also comes with a series of decluttering tips to give you the motivation to get started! You’ll have no more excuses to hold onto your stuff!
Best,
Nathalie

The experience was spot on for me. Your approach was gently persuasive and manageable and led to great results. You made sure the decisions were my own, with impartiality from you. There was never any pressure to abandon items, instead, you guided the process carefully and cleverly with your questions and conversations.

If you see Nathalie in person, you will immediately get that sense that, oh my, she is born to do this work. As a coach, she not only provides the skills which is the “doing part” but also supports the client to shift the inner process and build up the confidence which is essential.

Nathalie is a goldmine. She came up with a number of ideas when she visited our home. She then spent time understanding our mindsets and coaching us. Nathalie is a fabulous coach and really understands how to help people declutter both their homes and their lives. Under her guidance, we moved from landed 2,500 sqft houses and condos to eventually being able to fit our lives into our own tiny sub 1,000 sqft HDB flat and yet having tons of space!
